Keto Garlic Flatbreads

Made with a cheesy, garlic-infused dough, these low-carb delights are perfect for satisfying your bread cravings while staying true to your keto lifestyle.

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
57g cream cheese
1 cup almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt to taste
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Cheese: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for about 1-2 minutes, or until the cheeses are completely melted. Stir well to combine.
  3. Prepare the Dough: Add the almond flour, baking powder, minced garlic, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried parsley, and a pinch of salt to the melted cheese mixture. Stir until well combined. Add the egg and continue to mix until a dough forms. It might be sticky, but that's okay.
  4. Shape the Flatbreads: Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. With wet hands (to prevent sticking), shape each part into a small, flat round or oval shape and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the flatbreads are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Garlic Topping: While the flatbreads are baking, mix the olive oil with the remaining minced garlic. Once the flatbreads are done, brush the garlic oil mixture over the tops. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve: Let the flatbreads cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm!
