Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice, mainly due to fluctuating exchange rates and suppliers putting their prices up. Prices displayed include 15% VAT. International Customers will not be charged VAT on their invoice - provided of course, that the International Customer Group was selected ;)

Agreement of Sale

An agreement of sale between Caring Candies and a customer is only valid once payment has been received. Up until this point all goods remain the property of Caring Candies.

Payment Terms

Please note all orders may be paid by EFT, Debit Card, or Credit Card via PayFast and funds received by us before order will be dispatched. The transaction currency is South African Rands (ZAR).

Collections From Store

Customers wishing to collect their orders from our store need to wait for notification by email that their order is ready for collection. We do not offer a same-day service.

Deliveries

All orders are subject to product availability. We will notify you of any stock shortages and give you the option to swap the out-of-stock item, get a credit for the item, or wait an extra day or two until it is back in stock.

All delivery charges are calculated automatically by the System and are based on your location (you will enter your location when you register your account), as well as the total weight of your order. The System, however, will present you with the costs before you go ahead and Checkout.

Our couriers ask for approx. 2-3 working days for Western Cape deliveries, and 4-5 working days for National deliveries (providing you are not too far from a main centre). Regional out outlying areas may take a little longer as those areas are not serviced every day. International Orders will be sent with DHL Worldwide Express.

Once funds have cleared, we will receive your order, pack it, and send it off with the couriers.

You will receive a confirmation email from us providing you with the courier’s contact details as well as your tracking number.

Please provide an address where someone is available during working hours to receive the order. You accept that in order for us to prove delivery of an order, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.

Goods Returned Policy

We will not accept any liability for damages caused due to the goods not stored according to the recommended storage instructions.

Whilst every effort is made to protect goods in transit, some of the products such as the biscuits crackers, rusks, etc. may become damaged in transit.

For any defect in the goods, you also need to inform us within 2 days of noticing the defect.

Caring Candies will not accept cancellation of orders once payment has been received.

We do not accept expired stock back for any reason. It is therefore your duty to ensure that you use the goods before the expiry date.

Every necessary step is taken to ensure that the collection, storage, and handling of your personal information (e.g. your name, address, email, and contact number) is done appropriately and securely to protect against unauthorized access or loss.

When you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, contact number, and email address

To protect your personal information, we take precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

You will never provide us with your credit card information, that information is controlled by the PayFast payment gateway.
