Banting Peanut Butter and “Maple Syrup” Granola Bars

Banting and Keto sugar free gluten free peanut butter granola barsThese granola bars by Chef Annés Keyter are the perfect snack, lunchbox addition, hiking energy bar and all-rounder. They are loaded with good, healthy fats and fibre, are super quick and easy to make and everyone in your family will love them.

Fridge time: 30 minutes
Serving: 12 large rectangular bars/24 small square

𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

2 ½ cups homemade granola
½ cup (no added sugar) peanut butter

𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

Line a small tray/dish (+- 26cm casserole dish) with baking paper.
In a bowl combine the granola, peanut butter and syrup.
Melt the coconut oil and mix into the granola mixture.
Add the mixture to the lined tray/dish and press down.
Put the tray/dish in the fridge and leave for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Remove the granola from the fridge and from tray/dish and cut into desired size and shape.
